Life is what we make it. For some, it is a mundane chore or like a jail but to others it is enjoyable. I choose to make mine exciting by accepting God’s plan. The plan is to bring love, peace and respect to as many people as I can in 2015 through my writings.
In my books, you’ll be able to see for yourselves how I use romance, drama, and suspense mixed with supernatural characters and events to uncover God’s love and other mysteries for your enjoyment, encouragement and empowerment. I don’t care if you are a Christian, Muslim, Hindu, or are an atheist, the spirit of God’s love will manifest for you when you read my books. God is pure love and he wants you to experience it for yourself. Every human being is included is this love and it is accessible to everyone across the board.
Showing you his love, peace and respect is now my life’s work. Helping other people understand they are precious is very important to me. You may be wondering why I feel so strongly about this. It came as a sheer gift to me and a real surprise, when God told me to tell my story to help people deal with life. I was shocked and mortified when I heard the Holy Spirit say this to me. My life wasn’t something I was proud of and I didn’t want to share it with anyone. I thought I wasn’t worthy of this job. I was the least qualified. My life had been a disaster before I came to Jesus. Plus I couldn’t speak well in public. Every time I tried, my body rebelled to the point of being physically sick.
When I confessed my concerns, he said I was highly qualified in his eyes. When I told him about my public speaking phobia, he politely said to write a book, but before I could tell him I wasn’t proficient in grammar and spelling, he said he would handle all the details and told me to stop worrying and just write
As an avid reader, the only way I could make my life story entertaining was to write it in a way I’d would love to read. In 2010, I began my writing quest by changing names, places and bringing into the storyline, supernatural characters so I could make my story a fiction novel instead of a biography. I knew I couldn’t write something preachy with self-help suggestions because I didn’t enjoy that kind of reading material. I had to keep the story simple but also make it dramatic with romance and suspense to keep it entertaining. The task was focused on bringing out into the open shameful acts and hateful moments in order to make plain what God did in and through my life. I wanted to show in this book, his inexhaustible love and generosity and prove to others that Jesus truly removes sin and no one is held guilty any longer in God’s sight. In 2012, “THE PLAN” went to a publisher and by the fall of 2013, the book was being sold worldwide. God truly handled all the details just like he promised. That may one day be another story to tell.
Today, I have written three books. God’s plan for me is to proceed along this same path and trust in him to take care of all the details. I’ve also learned, when we trust in him, we’re free to say whatever needs to be said and bold to go wherever we need to go. He even gives strength to speak in crowds or before a television audience. Is it easy? No, it is not; I still feel sick, but I manage to say what I need to say. One day I hope to be comfortable with this part of my job. Promoting the work you’ve written is also part of God’s plan. He didn’t plan for me to sit behind a computer all my life, he want me to meet my fans, make new friends and help others.
I can honestly say, that God can do anything, far more than anyone can ever imagine, guess or ask. He took my brokenness and made it a treasure to share so you could know the love, peace and respect I’ve received. Your lives are precious to God. Join me in 2015 for the best year we’ve ever known.
