The interview questions will spotlight the guest writer, show them love, peace, and respect by allowing them to tell you about their books, other projects and plans to promote. It is also designed to give an author who reads the blog interview posted, insights on how they can grow and share in this huge literary field. Art Costello lives in Austin, Texas with his wife, Beverly, and their dog Hazel. His family includes three adult children, their spouses, and five grandchildren. His background includes serving in Viet Nam as a Marine, playing college and semi-professional baseball as a catcher, working in and completing a degree in psychology, being a new talent scout in the entertainment business, and owning a business for thirty years. As a counselor at Mercy Mental Health in San Diego, he had worked with world-renowned “play” researcher, Dr. Stuart Brown and while in the entertainment industry working with some of the most identified performers of the times. Art’s greatest joy has been raising his family and spending time with his diverse group of friends.

- What inspired you to write?
Since I was a little boy about 8 years old I realized that my expectations had an incredible impact on my perceptions of my surroundings. We are an expectation-driven world whether we want to admit it or not. When we learn the power and proper use of our expectations, we can bring a new awareness and perspective to our lives. It can drive us to our greatest successes or bring us to our knees in despair. The choice is ours to make.

I have only 1 published book and have another in the making.

- What are you promoting at the moment?
We are in the process of building the web platform and speaking engagements. I generally do a radio interview per week, but we are working toward increasing that amount.
- Do you enjoy meeting people and promoting your work?
I absolutely love meeting people and enjoy promoting my work. It is my passion and desire for the rest of my days on earth. I believe I can change the way people view their expectations in this world.
- Would you travel and do speaking engagements to promote your book(s)?
Yes, I do and will travel anywhere to speak about the importance of expectations in our lives.

Anywhere. Favorites: New York City, San Francisco, London, Rome, Austin, TX. I would love to speak to the African continent about higher expectations.
- Tell us your successful methods of promoting?
Social Media has been my primary means of promoting. Early on I used Smith Publicity in NJ for a 10-week stint, they brought early small radio interviews but little else.

Yes, my next book is titled Quantum Expectations and already has gained interest from major publishers.
